The back of the quilt is made from 72 pieces of fabric

gold starbursts from 1950s decorative paper

over and over till all colors are painted

Double Woven Hearts in Embossed Metal Frame wedding Subject: hummingbirdSome time ago, I bought several antique frames and daguerreotype cases. The cases had come apart, so I decided they'd make beautiful frames for love tokens. In this instance, I used the interior, embossed copper frame and glass. The woven hearts are usually made from aged, stained, watercolored paper. Sometimes I print copies of 18th and 19th century letters on the papers that I age.
