A really lovely expression of quite intense fruit - a little too intense to be truly elegant perhaps

as is the case with the vintages of the 1990s

As it almost always is this is more refined than the Chambertin if less powerful and a bit less mineral driven

Fresh and ripe aromas include those of green fruit, a plethora of citrus elements and background hint of the exotic. The very rich and full bodied flavors possess a very generous mouthfeel while the moderately firm acid spine to maintain a refreshing tension on the mildly rustic finale.
