it's got a super earthy feel and reminds me of the pottery that surrounded me in my youth

As Puget Sound is mentioned I'd think its maker was from the Pacific Northwest

complete with lots of charming photographs of all of the above

Large Double Ball in Cage Carved Whimsy tall teak vase I purchased this and aSo many different sorts of whimsies to love, but I think these sort of architectural balls in cages are among my favorites. This substantially sized one has a nice dry patina, and is great both standing on end or laying horizontally, and lands at a nice mid point between rustic and refined. Found in Maine, and with a good number of years on it for sure. 6 7 8" long x 1 5 8" wide and deep. Very good vintage condition, with a couple of tiny hairline
