Amalinda Monastrell, 2019 Cacotrigi Solid and sturdyThis hot and sunny region in the south of Spain is known for its rich, dark, big and berry driven wines; definitely indulgent yet can be real charmers. This Amalinda bottling is a gem of a find, giving all the depth of the Monastrell variety (known as Mourvdre in France), but with its nuanced spice, cocoa notes and refined structure this wine is really quite the delicious surprise. Sourced from organic Monastrell vineyards, at 2000 2600 feet above sea
